“Just back from a 3 night stay in a 2 bedroom unit at Ocean Plaza.
In short it was a lovely unit on the 18th floor, great views, very well appointed, friendly reception staff, and a location close to shops, restaurants, also Twin Towns Club is close enough to walk there and back.
Now for some unit details……..
Reservation and Check-In: This was quick and efficient, our booking/deposit details were all correct.
Parking: Secure underground parking with plenty of spaces available. Getting from the parking area to our room was a challenge! There are 2 lift wells from the car park, these are some 50 metres apart – one that goes up only 3 floor to the shops above, the other lift goes up to all floors of the Ocean Plaza. We took the former, got lost on level 2, then finally was directed to the correct lift. Tip – look for the Ocean Plaza Paw Prints on the ground as you leave the secure car park, these will lead you to the correct lift.
The Unit: Unit 94 was a gem! Overlooking Coolangatta beack and out to sea. There was a large well furnished lounge and dining area which opened to a lovely small balcony with a table and 4 chairs. There was a large flat screen TV/DVD in lounge area and an effective Air Cond. The kitchen area had everything one needed to prepare meals, including a full size fridge.
Both bedrooms were a good size and again efficient Air Cond in both rooms.
Overall a classy well appointed unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit 18/94.
Room Tip: Follow the Paw Prints on the ground leading from the secure Car Park to the Lifts.”
