Ocean Plaza Resort’s guide to easy holiday cooking

Trying local restaurants and cafes is all part of the excitement of a holiday, but the costs of eating out can add up and sometimes there’s nothing as nourishing as home cooked meal.

Our spacious self-contained apartments all come with a full sized, well-appointed kitchen that makes holiday cooking easy – whether you’re staying for a weekend, a week or even longer.

Bring some supplies with you, or pick up your fresh groceries from the Strand on Coolangatta shopping centre, which features Woolworths, Aldi and ethical butcher The Meat Merchant. We’re connected to the Strand on Coolangatta, so you won’t even need to leave the building to go shopping. Or, for even more convenience, order your groceries with Woolies online and they will deliver to your door at Ocean Plaza Resort.

With the best beaches and all the sights and attractions of the Gold Coast right outside your door you won’t want to spend all day in the kitchen! Holiday cooking should be easy, relaxing and refreshing without too many fussy ingredients or methods. We’ve rounded up a few simple, but delicious, recipes that will make your holiday cooking easy as pie.
